Alex DiMauro is an artist based in Massachusetts, she is graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts at Lesley University’s Art and Design program. She is a multifaceted artist with works that range from public installations, to oil paints, photography, mixed media, and book making. With a focus on collection as well as every day objects, she finds the beauty in the simplest and often overlooked things. With hopes to inspire people to come together her public installation work has evolved into a participatory experience. She engages with the audience and breaks down the barrier of the viewer and the artist. Strongly influenced by her time studying abroad in Aix en Provence France, ideals of impressionism, immediacy, and a love for nature are present in her work.
